Caseload & Role Focus:

Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and academic needs Provide individual and small-group counseling and social work services Assist students experiencing behavioral, family, or school-related challenges Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and related service providers Participate in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings Connect students and families with appropriate school and community resources

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students Conduct assessments and identify student needs Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies Provide individual and group counseling as needed Support students experiencing crisis or significant social-emotional challenges Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and school support teams Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings Maintain accurate student records and service documentation

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) Valid Certified School Social Work Specialist (C-SSWS) certification OR valid Colorado DORA-issued LSW or LCSW license Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Open to Travelers and New Graduates!
