Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students across multiple schools by providing essential support as a school-based social worker. This full-time, contract position for the upcoming school year presents an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 caseload. Utilize your expertise to foster student growth, learning, and well-being by delivering services that truly matter.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license or willingness to secure one prior to starting Previous experience as a school social worker is strongly preferred Ability to support a K-12 caseload, serving approximately 45 students across at least two schools Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to connect with students at varying ability levels and diverse backgrounds Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement services that address students' needs, support learning, and promote progress toward individualized goals Engage students using strategies tailored to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills Maintain a safe, supervised environment for all students in accordance with established health, safety, welfare, and educational policies Communicate high expectations and provide ongoing support to inspire students' growth Act as a resource for students and staff, ensuring that each child receives support suited to their unique needs This role allows you to contribute meaningfully to school communities while working closely with students, educators, and families.
