We The Children Family Center is seeking a reliable, professional, and compassionate Supervised Visitation Monitor to oversee court-ordered and voluntary supervised visits between parents and children. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in social work, child development, psychology, or related fields who are committed to supporting safe and positive family interactions.

Responsibilities:

Supervise visits between parents and children in a neutral setting Ensure compliance with center rules and court orders Maintain a safe, calm, and structured environment Document detailed, objective visitation notes (court-admissible) Intervene appropriately if safety concerns arise Communicate professionally with parents and center staff

Qualifications:

Experience working with children and families (required) Background in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field (preferred) Ability to remain neutral and professional in high-conflict situations Strong observation and documentation skills Reliable transportation (some community visits may be required) Must pass a background check

Schedule:

Flexible scheduling Evenings and weekends required Visits typically range from 1-3 hours

Compensation & Structure:

Independent contractor (1099 position) Paid per hour Opportunity for consistent weekly hours based on availability
