Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Make a lasting difference in K-12 students' lives by providing crucial social and emotional support in a supportive educational setting. Contract opportunity available for a dedicated professional to work onsite, serving a full caseload across a diverse student body from August through early June.
Key qualifications:
Possession of a current Colorado Teaching License (CDE) SSW (School Social Worker) or Counselor Endorsement required Experience working with K-12 student populations, ideally in a school setting Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Adaptability and commitment to fostering a positive environment for individual student growth Passion for mental health advocacy and social-emotional learning In this impactful role, you will: Address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges with individual students and groups Develop and implement targeted intervention plans in coordination with educational staff Serve as a resource for families and teachers, connecting them with community support Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district and state regulations Contribute to a team-oriented approach focused on each student's well-being and academic success Provide crisis intervention and support as needed throughout the school year You'll be supporting students and staff onsite throughout the academic year, making meaningful connections and promoting positive outcomes every day.
