Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Support and empower K-12 students as an onsite school social worker in a vibrant educational environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to foster positive change for students and collaborate with dedicated educators through the academic year, from August to early June.
Key Qualifications:
Active Colorado Teaching License (CDE) is required School Social Worker (SSW) or Counselor Endorsement is mandatory Experience working with K-12 students is highly valued Strong communication, organizational, and crisis intervention skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families Professionalism, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to student well-being
Core Responsibilities:
Provide social-emotional support through counseling and group interventions for K-12 students Partner with school staff to assess student needs and create individualized support plans Address issues such as attendance, behavioral concerns, and crisis situations in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Facilitate connections to community resources for students and families Maintain comprehensive and confidential student records Act as a resource for staff on mental health and social development topics This contract position is fully onsite, offering you the opportunity to become a trusted resource for students and staff throughout the school year.
