2993591141-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Seabright School and Therapy Staffing seeks a School Social Worker to support K-12 students in partnered districts. In this school-based role, you will provide assessments, individual and group counseling, and targeted interventions to address social, emotional, and behavioral barriers to learning. You will collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and related service providers, participate in IEP and 504 processes, and engage families with school and community resources. Responsibilities Provide school-based social work services to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans in collaboration with school teams Facilitate individual and group counseling focused on coping, social skills, and behavior Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success Engage and support families, connecting them with school and community resources Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with school, district, and legal requirements Consult with staff on classroom strategies, behavior plans, and crisis response Support crisis intervention and risk assessment procedures as needed Contribute to a collaborative, ethical, and student-centered school culture Required Skills School-based social work practice Student psychosocial assessment Individual and group counseling IEP and 504 plan participation Behavior and intervention planning Family engagement and case management Crisis intervention and risk assessment Trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice Documentation and compliance in school settings Interdisciplinary team collaboration
