This contract opportunity is perfect for two dedicated social workers passionate about helping children and teens overcome challenges so they can reach their fullest potential. Starting as soon as possible and running through late May 2027, youll work full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) across two assigned schools in the Denver area, with placements ranging from early childhood to high school age groups depending on assignment availability.

Key qualifications:

Minimum of three years experience working as a social worker in schools Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution Current Colorado Special Service Provider license School Social Worker (ages birth through 21) Strong background in providing mental health services and counseling to students Commitment to completing the full academic year Successful completion of district background check and fingerprinting Primary responsibilities: Deliver direct mental health support to students, fostering their academic and personal success Address issues such as attendance, behavior, or other areas of student distress Refer students to external agencies for additional support as needed Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop a comprehensive view of student needs Maintain detailed case files and prepare reports to track student progress Develop and implement student counseling, remediation, and treatment plans Provide workshops as needed to support the school community This full-time contract role offers a chance to work across different grade levels and school environments, allowing for both professional growth and the chance to truly impact student well-being.
