Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field Current licensure or certification as a School Social Worker or School Psychologist in Connecticut Demonstrated experience supporting students in schools, particularly in crisis intervention or crisis management Strong assessment and counseling skills for diverse populations Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administration, and families Compassionate, adaptable, and culturally sensitive approach to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide crisis management support, including timely assessments and interventions for students facing urgent emotional or behavioral challenges Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement intervention plans Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, facilitating communication and emotional regulation Serve as a resource for staff and families, offering guidance on managing crises and supporting student wellness Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulations and ethical standards Deliver workshops or trainings on mental health awareness, crisis prevention, and de-escalation strategies Step into a role where your expertise in crisis management and school-based mental health can truly make a difference.
