Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field Active state licensure as a School Social Worker or School Psychologist Previous experience in school settings and/or providing crisis intervention Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of evidence-based practices in crisis management and student support
Key Responsibilities:
Provide immediate and ongoing crisis management and intervention for students in need Conduct assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral challenges Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a safe and healthy school climate Participate in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) or intervention meetings as needed Offer counseling services and connect students with community resources and additional support systems
