r42414-06260 Job Description Part-Time | 2 Days/Week | High School | 20262027 School Year We are seeking a School Social Worker to join a high school team for the 20262027 school year. This position will work 2 days per week and will share an established high school caseload with another social work provider. In this role, youll work directly with students to address social-emotional, behavioral, and school-related needs that may impact their ability to succeed in the classroom. Day-to-day responsibilities may include meeting individually with students, providing counseling and social-emotional support, helping students work through challenges that are affecting their school performance, and connecting students and families with appropriate school or community resources. Youll also collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, special education staff, families, and other members of the student support team. The social worker will contribute to student planning, communicate concerns and progress with the appropriate team members, and help identify strategies and supports that allow students to remain engaged and successful at school. Because this is a shared caseload, youll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the other provider and provide input on your schedule. The school year begins August 27, 2026, and is tentatively scheduled to end June 10, 2027. Connecticut #071 School Social Work certification is required. Interested? Apply by contacting
