Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in students' lives through your expertise in crisis management and support. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled professional with a background in school social work or psychology. You'll work closely with students, faculty, and families to foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Social Worker or School Psychologist Proven experience in school-based settings Demonstrated ability to provide crisis intervention and manage urgent student situations Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to interact effectively with students, families, and staff Excellent problem-solving skills, with a calm and compassionate approach Experience developing and implementing behavioral or intervention plans is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral crises Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with school personnel to create safety plans Offer counseling, facilitate support groups, and connect students with appropriate resources Serve as a critical liaison between students, families, and outside agencies as needed Participate in student support meetings and help design individualized interventions Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere throughout the school community Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in adherence to school policies This contract position presents an opportunity to impact the educational experience and overall well-being of students in need.
