Job Description

Make a difference in students lives by stepping into an engaging school-based Social Worker contract opportunity in Connecticut for the upcoming academic year! Two full-time positions are available, each tailored to provide support in dynamic educational environmentsone serving high schoolers and the other focused on elementary-aged children. Both roles are entirely onsite with a schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Key Qualifications:
Active licensure/certification from Connecticut DPH and CT (071) required Demonstrated experience in school settings is essential Confidence in managing short-term assignments and transitions Capacity to primarily conduct student evaluations and assessments Comfortable working full-time onsite; virtual work is not available Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive social work services to students, including counseling, crisis intervention, and case management Conduct individual and group evaluations to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop and implement appropriate intervention and support plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and school leadership to foster students academic and personal growth Maintain thorough and confidential documentation according to school and professional guidelines
