Overview The Sparrow Run Family Resource Center has served the families residing in the community for over 29 years. We focus on empowering families and strengthening communities through comprehensive programs and community engagement initiatives. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Coordinator for our Family Resource Center, with a preference for bilingual candidates. This vital role involves leading community outreach efforts, developing impactful programs, managing staff and volunteers, and fostering strong partnerships within culturally diverse communities. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team leader with excellent communication skills, ready to make a meaningful difference by connecting families to vital resources and support services. Duties Lead community outreach initiatives to engage underserved populations and promote available services Develop, implement, and evaluate family-centered programs that meet community needs Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and recognition to build a motivated team Collaborate with community partners, schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations to strengthen service networks Conduct public speaking engagements and informational sessions to raise awareness about resources and programs Oversee data collection and reporting to monitor program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement Manage social media platforms and marketing efforts to increase program visibility and community engagement Qualifications Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral or social sciences (social work, sociology, psychology, counseling or community organizing) or equivalent experience. At least 3 years experience managing and delivering community-based programs for children, youth and their families. Favorable background checks (Criminal History, Child Abuse Registry, Sex Offender Registry and Adult Abuse Registry) Supervising experience with team leadership responsibilities Strong public speaking skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences Knowledge of social media management, marketing strategies, and data collection tools Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations Bilingual proficiency preferred; fluency in additional languages is a plus Background in social work, public health, youth programs, domestic violence or addiction counseling highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with community partners and grassroots organizations Strong writing skills for reports, grant proposals, and promotional materials Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the level of liability insurance required by CHILD Inc. policy and a vehicle in good working condition.
