Schedule/Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM This position is responsible for: Serves as lead worker by supervising and participating in the provision of social service assistance to eligible clients in the following areas: food, lodging, clothing, furniture, and financial assistance; interview clients to determine need and eligibility to receive services; prepares accurate and complete client records; refers clients to community agencies and maintains effective working relation-ships with the same; ensures compliance with program policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assesses client needs and eligibility; provides referrals as needed. Processes client assistance requests and related paperwork. Assists with Food Stamps, Medicaid, and ACCESS applications. Maintains client records and follow-up documentation. Manages food pantry inventory, storage, and compliance. Coordinates Food Bank orders and monthly reporting.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to operate and answer a telephone. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent, and two years experience coordinating or managing work in an office environment preferably in the Social Services field or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
