$13.00 - $20.00 per hour After School Program Counselor (Part-Time) Oconee County Elementary Schools | Fall 2026 About the Role YWCO is seeking caring, energetic, and dependable After School Program Counselors to help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children after school. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in their community. Schedule Monday-Friday (school days) Approximately 17-20 hours per week

Hours:

2:00-5:30 PM Key Responsibilities Supervise and engage with elementary-aged children during after school hours Assist with daily activities, games, crafts, and enrichment programs Help children with homework when needed Foster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants Encourage positive behavior and model respectful interactions Assist with snack distribution, clean-up, and daily program organization Follow YWCO policies and procedures Communicate effectively with fellow staff members and supervisors Compensation $13.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement within youth programming Why Join YWCO? Work Location:
