Job Responsibilities Under supervision, work with families and children as part of the district's 10 county Early Intervention/Babies Can't Wait program. Duties include coordinating services, providing educational support and acting as the single point of contact helping parents obtain support and assistance needed. Will be responsible for monitoring developmental progress of the child and assuring federal mandates and standards are being implemented appropriately. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Extensive travel throughout the district may be required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Audiology, Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, Elementary Education, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Family/Community Counseling, Certified Orientation/Mobility Specialist, Social Work, Special Education, Child Psychology, Dietetics, Early Childhood Special Education, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Sociology, Education OR The potential candidate may have a related bachelor or mater's degree. Related is defined as " at least 20% of the credit hours of the transcript must address child development, disabilities, or family systems."
