Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mentor to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of adult and families. In this vital role, you will provide guidance, support, and positive reinforcement to individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential. The Mentor will foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages growth, resilience, and confidence while promoting healthy behavioral and emotional development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to empower Autistic populations and contribute to community well-being through engaging development programs. The goal of the work is to help adults with high functioning Autism achieve the highest level of independence possible. Responsibilities Build trusting relationships with adults, offering mentorship that promotes positive behavioral change and personal growth Implement evidence-based behavioral health and clinical strategies, Facilitate engaging programs focused on growth and development, life skills, social-emotional learning, and cultural competence Collaborate with case managers, social workers, and families to create tailored support plans that address each individuals unique circumstances Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes, incident reports, and program participation records using Microsoft Office tools Manage conflict resolution situations with patience and professionalism to foster a respectful environment for all participants Experience Prior experience working with individuals in educational, social work, or program settings Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and Autistic populations Strong communication skills for client engagement, family collaboration, and case management documentation Experience implementing positive behavioral interventions in community settings Join us in inspiring hope, fostering resilience, and empowering this population! Pay:
$15.55 - $17.75 per hour
