The hours range from, morning care, 7am
  • 9:45am and aftercare anywhere from 11am
  • 6pm, (we are open to a combination of days and times). Our program caters to children 14 months
  • 5 years.
The candidate should be able to do the following: Greet each child and parent in a warm and friendly manner. Interact with the children and encourages their involvement in activities. Provide a warm, safe, and caring environment that is kept orderly, clean, and appealing. The environment should allow the child to grow and to explore. Be responsible for the health, welfare, and safety of the children. Work with other staff members to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere. Ensure confidentiality of privileged information. Maintain adherence to all school policies and procedures, including safety requirements. Model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the school administration, including their direct supervisor. Must be able to lift children onto changing tables and willing to learn proper diaper changing in accordance with Bright from the Start. Be able or have the ability to communicate with parents in an effective manner. Be able to or have the ability to think outside the box. Is firm but friendly. Have the ability to follow a daily schedule. A desire to learn more about play based environments in the education field. Have or exhibit patience and understanding, as children develop at different rates and have an understanding that all children's needs are different. Experience working with children is preferred, but not required.' '
