This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to lead engaging children's programs, support families, and inspire the next generation of believers. As a key leader within our church, you will create a welcoming environment that encourages faith development, community involvement, and joyful learning for children, 3-11 years. This paid position is ideal for someone dedicated to ministry, with a heart for mentoring youth and a desire to serve in a faith-based nonprofit setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate children's ministry programs that align with the church's mission and values Lead weekly children's message in our service, Sunday school classes, and special events that foster spiritual growth and community engagement, like Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival and Spring Family Outreach Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers to support children's programs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment Collaborate with pastoral staff to integrate children's ministry into overall church activities and outreach initiatives Organize and coordinate family-focused events, holiday celebrations, and mission projects that promote community involvement Maintain accurate records of attendance, volunteer schedules, and program feedback to continually improve ministry offerings Experience Proven experience working with children in a Christian setting along with knowledge of biblical teachings Experience planning church programs and community outreach events Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with children, parents, volunteers, and church leadership
