Job Description

We are seeking a Counselor / Social Worker to join our team! You will provide outpatient mental health counseling through professional, faith-based approach (office is located in a local evangelical church building). Provides clinical services, including individual and family therapy, to clients in both office-based and telehealth appointments. (determined by client need and clinician preference)

Responsibilities:

Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history Develop and execute individual treatment plans Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress Provides individual and group counseling. Provides referral to outside resources when appropriate. Consults with colleagues and supervisor regarding client care planning. Maintains appropriate documentation of services to clients. Attends all regularly scheduled staff meetings. Helps Elu connect with the community. Maintains ethical standards. Participates in supervision appropriate to one's level of training.

Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in clinical social work or professional counseling from an accredited institution Licensed to practice counseling or clinical social work in the state of practice. Previous experience in social work, counseling, or other related fields Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work Demonstrate competence in clinical diagnosis, treatment paradigms, and cross-cultural issues. Strong organizational and communication skills. Spiritual maturity and the ability to integrate Christian faith with mental health practice. Commitment to the mission of Elu Pass a background check that includes criminal, driving, and credit record. Staff members routinely handle protected financial information of clients (social security numbers, medical policy numbers, etc.). Good standing on all is a condition of employment.

Location:

Office we are hiring for is located in a church building. We have additional offices across

GA, TN, FL & NC.

We have contracts with insurance panels and can work virtually with clients in these states: Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Iowa, and Illinois.

•Due to our insurance contracts in multiple states, we have above average, competitive reimbursement rates and which insure you are fairly compensated for your clinical work.

$30.00 - $105.00 per hour
