Full Job Description SUMMARY:
The Part Time Community Service Learning Caseworker functions as a member of the community service learning team and works integrally with the youth, family, and team to implement structured programing for the youth to complete assigned community service hours and/or classroom hours. The Caseworker provides services to youth identified as needing restorative and supportive services.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Adheres to Orchard Place's philosophy, values, commitments and practices in guiding day-to-day interactions with clients, families and staff. Respects and values individual differences and actively supports a culture that embraces inclusion and belonging. Provides support and assistance in the areas of behavior management, crisis intervention/prevention, and provision of additional services to youth and their families. Maintains client files and records in accordance with program and funding source requirements in collaboration with full-time staff. Maintains contact with referral source, family, and all other relevant parties if on occasion. Attends all mandatory scheduled meetings and trainings as pertains to position. Maintains professional staff/client relationships and appropriate role and relationship boundaries. Maintains client confidentiality. Maintains knowledge of community resources pertinent to youth's successful completion of community service hours. Continues personal and professional growth. Provides transportation to and from program when requested. Check of the motor vehicle record must meet agency guidelines. Participates as an active member of the program team and perform other duties as assigned. Communicates with program supervisor any issues that arise in a timely manner. Arrives on time and communicates absences directly to program supervisor in a timely manner.SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP
Reports to the Director, Contract Services.HOURS, WORK LOCATION AND REMUNERATION
This is a part time position, working under 30 hours per week, that involves working some of the following shifts: From 3:45 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Monday
- Friday and from 8:45 a.m.
- 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. Summer hours 12:45 p.m
