Job Description

Holy Trinity Catholic Early Childhood Center is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable School Age Associate to join our team. This position works with children ages 5-12 before and after school, on school breaks, and during our summer program. The ideal candidate enjoys building positive relationships with children, creating engaging activities, and maintaining a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of school-age children at all times. Help lead age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, and enrichment opportunities. Assist children with homework when appropriate. Maintain a positive classroom environment using respectful guidance and behavior management techniques. Transport children to and from (Walk or by vehicle if weather not appropriate to walk.) Maintain accurate attendance records and follow all licensing and safety regulations. Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's day. Assist with snack. Keep classrooms and activity areas clean, organized, and inviting. Work collaboratively with fellow staff members to provide quality childcare. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director. Qualifications Experience working with children is preferred but not required. Must successfully pass required background checks. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ability to remain active throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and participating in outdoor activities in various weather conditions.
Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
