Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker Experience working in educational or youth-centered settings is strongly preferred Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and case management Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support for at-risk students Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement behavioral interventions and support plans Serve as a liaison between home, school, and community services, advocating for resources students may need Participate in IEP or 504 plan meetings, sharing insight and recommendations for student support Educate staff and families on social-emotional best practices and provide relevant resources as needed Maintain accurate, confidential records per district guidelines This contract opportunity allows you to develop your professional skills while supporting students' well-being and contributing to a positive school culture.
