Job Description

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Bilingual School Social Worker to support students across a school district serving a large Spanish-speaking population in the Cahokia, Illinois area. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate professional who is passionate about helping students overcome barriers to academic and personal success.
Position Details Pay:
$50-$54 per hour |
Assignment Bonus:
$3,000•
Schedule:
Monday-Friday |
Hours:
7:45 AM-3:30 PM 37.5 hours per week 40-week school year assignment District-wide coverage Immediate opportunity available Responsibilities Provide social-emotional support and intervention services to students Conduct assessments and collaborate on student support plans Support student attendance, behavior, and overall well-being Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Connect students and families with school and community resources Serve a diverse student population with a significant Spanish-speaking community Requirements Fluency in Spanish and English Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) School Social Worker Endorsement Previous school-based experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Why SHC Education?
