When providing services as a Prevention Coordinator/Homeless Liaison in the Ball-Chatham school district, individuals can expect to work with a variety of students at all levels of their educational growth. Ball-Chatham employees are an integral part of the school community, not only providing support and daily lessons in the classroom, but building a positive path for each student in pursuit of their individual educational goals.

Pay Range:

$23.00-32.54

WHAT DO PREVENTION COORDINATORS/HOMELESS LIAISON'S DO?

Provide social work services to homeless children and at-risk youth system-wide. Provide families, teachers, community and other agencies information about social agencies Serve as a classroom and parent liaison. Facilitate an articulated PreK-12 attendance procedure and assist in the maintenance of the procedures

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related behavioral science field or certification in related area Ability to pass fingerprint background check Ability to interact with a variety of people with diverse socio-economic backgrounds and temperaments Ability to work independently
