Social Workers AB Staffing is looking for experienced Licensed School Social Workers that are available for the 2025/2026 school year.

Requirements:

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work preferred.

Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker EndorsementExperience in a school setting preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsMust demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required. Contract through the 2025/2026 school yearContract follows the academic district calendar - 32 to 40 hours per week.

Essential Functions:

Provide individual and group counseling to studentsSupport students with IEPs and contribute to IEP meetingsCollaborate with teachers, parents, and administrationAddress issues such as attendance, behavior, and crisis interventionServe as a liaison between the school and community resources

Salary:
