This contract opportunity runs from September 9, 2026, through December 12, 2026, at a vibrant elementary environment near Elgin, IL. Whether you are a passionate School Social Worker or Counselor, your expertise will play a vital role in fostering social and emotional growth.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid professional licensure as either a School Social Worker or School Counselor (state-specific requirements apply) Previous experience in an elementary school setting is highly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families Strong understanding of student assistance programs and behavioral support strategies Ability to manage caseloads, maintain accurate records, and comply with state and federal guidelines Compassionate, proactive, and resourceful approach to student challenges
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct individual and group counseling for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to student needs Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate support strategies Lead and contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive school climate Maintain case documentation and monitor progress throughout the duration of the assignment Enjoy the opportunity to make a daily impact in a collaborative environment that values your knowledge and empathy.
