Key Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Social Work (SW) license required Previous school-based social work experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to build rapport with students across various age groups Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and indirect social work services to students as part of an educational team Assess students social and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized support plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and well-being Conduct group and individual counseling sessions Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and intervention strategies Maintain consistent documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and district guidelines This engaging school-based role provides a meaningful opportunity to support young people as they develop both academically and socially.
