Lake Street Chicago, IL 60606 website: https://www.eartoearbehavioralhealthsolution.com Job Description We are now recruiting for the position of licensed professional counsellor (LPC) or licensed social worker (LSW). The ideal candidate would have extensive experience working with a wide range of client demographics and a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives. Qualifications A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program Approved by the board as a licensed social worker or licensed professional counselor, with a master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. Post-graduate work experience in a counselling setting treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders (bipolar, schizophrenia, etc.), couples therapy, and trauma is required. Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM under a licensed supervisor. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group counseling services tailored to each individual If clinically necessary, intervening when a crisis presents and taking appropriate action to ensure safety of the patient(s) Provide evidence-based psychotherapy treatment using a range of modalities such as Psychodynamic method, CBT, DBT, Supportive Therapy, EMDR, etc Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans and assessments Attend and participate in supervision and training sessions Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records. Able to diagnose, knowledge of ICD-10 codes, and able to complete charting within 48 hours Provide guidance, support, and direction to clients and their families to help them meet their goals Supporting clients and families in addressing a wide range of presenting issues, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, substance abuse, trauma, couples therapy, etc. Collaborating with outside providers to ensure continuity of care for clients and their families

Pay:

$45/hour
