GENERAL FUNCTION

Manages all aspects of cases in Foster Care. Works with the court system, families, funding resources, schools, and other community resources. Prepares required reports and ensures all relevant parties are informed of clients' needs, goals and treatment progress on a timely basis. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Services field

WORKER ATTRIBUTES

Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work as a competent multi-disciplinary team member in a blended, clinically oriented special education/residential treatment setting. Ability to independently manage professional judgment, production requirements and operational goals. Ability to interpret and support policies and procedures established by Allendale, as well as licensing and accreditation standards, policies and procedures established by other agencies with relationships to Allendale. Ability to work effectively in crisis situations. Good assessment and decision-making skills. Ability to organize and coordinate meetings with several different parties. Ability to cooperate with inter-departmental cross training & be flexible regarding case assignment based on census needs.
