Job Description
Job Summary The Regional Office of Education #13 is seeking a dedicated Family Advocate to join our Prevention Initiative Birth to Three Program. This position provides family-centered, developmentally appropriate home visits to expectant parents and families with children ages birth to three throughout Jefferson, Marion, Clinton, and Washington counties. Position Details Full Time 12 Month Position (280 Days) Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred Key Responsibilities Schedule and conduct regular home visits with families Complete required documentation and data entry Collaborate with team members to plan program events Provide family-centered support, education, and developmental guidance to families Qualifications Knowledge of birth to three child development and milestones Experience working with young children and families Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Proficiency with basic computer skills, including email communication, internet navigation, electronic record systems, data entry, and the ability to learn new software platforms.
