Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program Current state licensure to practice as a School Social Worker Previous experience providing school-based social work services preferred Strong knowledge of IEPs, 504 plans, and student support services Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and staff Skilled in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavioral management

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group counseling to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs Participate in development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' academic and emotional growth Provide crisis intervention and collaborate on safety planning when necessary Advocate for student access to external community resources and mental health services Maintain confidential student records and thorough documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines Lead or participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development related to student wellness Take your passion for social work into a school setting where your dedication can make a lasting difference.
