Monitor and supervise foster homes to ensure practice of family-systems, inclusive, trauma-responsive, and strengths-based foster parenting, while ensuring foster homes meet and maintain compliance with DCFS licensing standards. A Typical Day as a
Child Welfare Licensing Worker:
Complete home studies and provide foster parents with individual and group trainings Complete license investigations Arrange respite for foster parents as needed. Assist caseworkers and other staff in placement and placement stability of children into foster homes. Monitor foster care homes to ensure compliance with all agency, state, and federal licensing standards and other applicable laws and regulations
Work Hours:
