This contract position offers the opportunity to work with K5th grade students in a supportive environment dedicated to student well-being and growth. Starting as soon as possible and running through early November 2026 (with a strong possibility of extension), youll play a crucial role addressing the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students, helping to foster a positive and productive school climate. Your work will be based onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:35 PM, ensuring continuity and close connection with staff and students.

Qualifications:

Valid Illinois School Social Worker License (SSW) Professional Educator License (PEL) required Previous experience as a social worker in a school setting (K5 preferred) Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families

Responsibilities:
