Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Illinois PEL with School Social Worker Endorsement required Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program Previous experience in a school setting, preferably at the elementary level Strong understanding of social-emotional development in children Excellent communication, collaboration, and case management skills Ability to travel throughout the district as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support services to elementary school students Conduct individual and group counseling sessions addressing a range of student needs Participate in the development of IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavioral Intervention Plans Offer crisis intervention and ongoing support to students and families Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement effective strategies Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements This is an exceptional opportunity to engage with a diverse school community and contribute meaningfully to district-wide student support initiatives.
