QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma/equivalent Valid driver's license, CDL preferred Knowledge of facilities maintenance and repairs Availability for emergency calls Respect confidentiality Must be able to use tact and diplomacy in human relations References must be provided Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to work flexible hours, weekends includedMaintenance Tasks:
Inspect school buildings and grounds on a regular basis and make repairs as needed Inspect maintenance equipment and vehicles on a regular basis and make repairs as needed Coordinate and prioritize building repair and maintenance activities Carry out a preventative maintenance program for facilities, grounds and equipment as directed Inspect work performed by outside contractors to ensure a high quality of work performed to specifications Regularly inspect and repair inside/outside equipment as needed to ensure a safe environment Regularly inspect school safety equipment to ensure good working order (Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lights) Mow and trim around buildings and grounds as scheduled Review work orders daily and complete them in a timely manner Make recommendations and repairs to ensure compliance with laws Assist in snow removal and salting of driveways, parking areas and walks a to maintain a safe environment Communicate with principals and building staff about maintenance projects Keep work environment clean orderly and safe Perform all work in a first-class workmanlike manner Assist the Director of Operations with building audits Perform all additional tasks as directed by the Director of Operations Promote a positive relationship with students, staff and community Adhere to the district's expectations with regards to attendance and punctuality Email To A Friend Print Version Postings current as of 9/18/2026 11:50:01 PM CST.
