Secretary Hours/Day:
7.5 (full-day)
Clerical Aide Hours/Day:
6.5 (full-day) District 200 is in search of Substitute Secretarial/clerical Aides for administrative and secretarial services for the school building's Office. Under the direct supervision of the building Administrator, this position provides administrative and secretarial services for the office. In addition to general duties, this position oversees the office activities in support of services provided to students, parents and staff, and handles highly confidential and sensitive information in a fast-paced environment. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize the diversified workload, and the ability to work with students and the public is a must. This position is an on-call, as needed position to temporarily replace a building secretary. Substitutes are expected to be available to work on a daily, consistent, and reliable basis. If selected to substitute in Wheaton Warrenville School District 200, candidates must undergo a physical examination and successfully pass a criminal background check.
Qualifications:
A positive, professional attitude Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively deal with conflict Excellent technical skills; must demonstrate knowledge of a variety of web, software and database applications (i.e.
Google Platform:
Docs, Sheets, and Slides) Good organizational skills, with the ability to problem solve Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations; position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy Ability to multi-task and work with multiple interruptions
