Salary Range:
$61,943.00 - $69,449.00

ASAP Required Qualifications:
 RN/BSN 
School Nursing Experience Responsibilities:
 Serves as the liaison between school nurses and Director of Student Services  Serves as the primary resource for health issues in the district  Provide orientation, ongoing training, and professional development for all new hires, current nurses, and substitute nurses  Conduct interviews for nursing vacancies and substitute nurses and make recommendations for hiring  Provides professional leadership and assistance in developing objectives and standards of the health services program  Acts as a resource to students, families, staff, and the community regarding health services, health education, and a healthy school environment  Procures substitute nurses and assigns as needed for building coverage  Coordinate health services for after school programs, school break academics and summer school programs  Oversees and ensures district wide compliance with state health mandates for schools  Acts as a resource to students, families, staff, and the community regarding health services, health education, and a healthy school environment  Conducts frequent observation and evaluation of all school clinic procedures  Conducts evaluation of all school nurses  All other medical duties as assigned by the
