The Part-Time Licensed Social Worker provides individualized mental health services to preschool-age children and families participating in CAPE's Growing Healthy Minds Initiative . The Licensed Social Worker supports the social-emotional development of young children through assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaboration with teachers, Behavioral Specialists, Parent Coaches, Family Advocates, and families. This position utilizes evidence-based, trauma-informed practices to promote healthy development, school readiness, and family well-being while supporting the goals of CAPE's Early Childhood Education Program and Head Start Performance Standards. This is a two-year grant funded position. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited or Board-approved program. Current Indiana Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in good standing. Minimum of two (2) years of supervised post-MSW clinical experience. Successful completion of the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Clinical Examination. OR Licensed Social Worker (LSW) Master's Degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited program. Current Indiana Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license in good standing. Successful completion of the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Licensed Social Worker Examination. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with experience or specialized training in: Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Early childhood assessment Trauma-informed care Play Therapy Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Positive behavior interventions Social-emotional learning Working with children and families experiencing poverty Facilitating small groups for social skills and emotional regulation
