Compliance Technician

Job Description

The Compliance Technician assures compliance with contractual and documentation requirements by assisting with case tracking, monitoring and distribution of information for compliance, and assisting with implementation of performance improvement strategies.

Reviews and monitors the quality of case files assuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and Saint Francis Ministries standards from initial referral to case closure.

Tracks, monitors, and distributes essential case activity, such as case plans and court reports to Case Teams, Supervisor, Performance Improvement Coordinator, DCF, and the Court. Provides feedback and follow up on the same.

Reviews and monitors case plan documents assuring compliance with all DCF standards and guidelines.

Conducts random and focused quality reviews of program processes, including, case file reads.

Prepares summaries of encounter data including, but not limited to, case plans and court reports, on a regular basis and as needed, but at least weekly.

Reviews files for accuracy and compliance of documentation, encounter data, and gathers missing information.

Assists in maintaining accurate information in the SFM database. This includes uploading medical records, court reports, journal entries, and case plans and updating parent information.

Assists with the case transfer process, making sure all documents necessary are completed.

May provide relief to other offices when there are vacancies or individuals out on leave.

May serve as third party for case plans with children/youth, families, and community partners.

May cover for Program Assistant when absent from the office.

Assures confidentiality of all data and information regarding children/youth and families.

Assist in maintaining the filing of case records.

Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies, and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state, and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms.

Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.

Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.

Ensures clients' rights are protected.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prefer experience with clerical duties, data collection, and excel spreadsheets.

Must be 21 years of age.

Must pass a drug screen, MVR, KBI, Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance check and an Adult Registry CheckFBI Fingerprint check if relocated to Kansas in the last 5 years.

Lifting requirement of 50 lbs.

Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
