Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Advocate/Prevention Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a frontline supporter for children and families, providing prevention services, advocacy, and resource navigation to promote child safety and overall well-being for the family system. Core Responsibilities Advocacy & Case Management Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and safety planning. Explain CAC processes and legal proceedings in a trauma-informed way. Coordinate referrals to counseling, medical care, and victim services. Maintain ongoing communication with families through all phases. Participate in MDT case review meetings. Prevention & Community Education Develop and implement prevention programming within school districts in Rice and Ellsworth County Conduct community trainings on child abuse recognition and reporting. Build partnerships with schools, childcare providers, and community organizations. Track prevention data and outcomes for reporting and grants. Documentation & Compliance Maintain complete, accurate case documentation. Ensure compliance with confidentiality and NCA standards We are looking for someone who is Compassionate Organized Innovative Excellent communicator Passionate about helping children and families Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or related field. Strong knowledge of child abuse dynamics and trauma-informed care. Experience in a CAC or MDT setting.
