A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of "Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships" in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EDUCATION
Education:
Minimum, Master's Degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or another human service degree program related to working with individuals with substance use disorders.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting OR Master's Degree in behavioral science, as defined above.
