Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus: A master's degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience. The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here .
Job Duties:
As a Social Worker, you will: Provide direct client care. Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical psychologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff regarding therapeutic interventions, diagnosis, and provisions of evidence based treatments via individual, group, and family therapy modalities. Document therapy notes within established timelines into an EHR (Electronic Health Record) System. Provide screenings, triage and referral services for clients seeking treatment, and will provide emergency evaluations when clinically needed. Possess and maintain the necessary licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.
