Position Summary:

Athol Community Elementary School seeks a reliable, culturally responsive individual to provide Spanish and Portuguese translation and family communication support. The individual will assist with responding to parent and family questions, sharing school updates, and helping families navigate school norms, procedures, and resources. This position will work closely with the ACES Administrative Team and Family Service Center to ensure families receive accurate, timely, and welcoming communication. Key Responsibilities Provide Spanish and Portuguese language translation and interpretation support for families. Respond to parent and caregiver questions and assist with communication between families and the school. Help communicate school announcements, updates, expectations, and procedures. Collaborate with the ACES Administrative Team and Family Service Center for guidance and accurate information. Qualifications Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with strong English communication skills. Reliability, professionalism, and discretion. Previous experience in a school, family-support, translation, or community setting is preferred but not required.
