Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Social Worker specializing in telehealth services to support students in an educational environment located in Beverly, MA. This role involves delivering remote social work services to address the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of students, ensuring their well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide telehealth social work sessions to students, focusing on mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized plans that support student needs. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with confidentiality regulations. Participate in virtual meetings and case conferences to discuss student progress and strategies. Identify and connect students and families with community resources and support services as necessary. Monitor student outcomes and adjust interventions accordingly to promote positive behavior and emotional growth.Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with licensure appropriate to practice in the state. Experience delivering social work services in a school environment, preferably using telehealth platforms. Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and school-based interventions. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality in a remote setting. Proficiency with technology required for telehealth service delivery.Benefits:
