Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid School Social Worker certificate in the state of Massachusetts Experience working with adolescents in a school setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy and confidentiality Skilled in developing individualized support plans Familiarity with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling for students in grades 9-12 Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify needs and coordinate interventions Maintain accurate and confidential student records Implement preventative programs that foster a positive school climate Connect students and families with appropriate community and mental health resources Contribute to IEP and 504 planning as part of a multidisciplinary team This full-time contract runs from ASAP through January 4, 2027, covering a maternity leave with consistent weekly hours.
