Job Description

The Guild of St. Agnes is the largest early education and care agency in Central MA with a mission to provide families with quality and affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment. We are currently seeking a flexible, organized and computer literate Family Child Care Coordinator in Gardner, MA.
Essential Functions:
Maintain effective and positive communication with families and co-workers Demonstrate excellent and professional verbal and written communications. Provide leadership to ensure programs and services are successfully delivered by the team. Microsoft Office Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain effective communication between the office and the Director of Family Childcare Responsible for recruiting licensed educators Develop community contacts to expand client base Support educators through regular visits offering orientation, training and development Maintain child care contracted slots and vouchers by using current wait lists, placement of children, reassessments and attendance Function as a liaison between Guild of St. Agnes educators and parents Arrange respite child care and complete reimbursement forms Conduct and document regular home visits Monitor fee collection and termination letters Maintain ongoing communication with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for children with open cases in DCF Arrange for substitute care for children Process educators' weekly invoices Arrange and coordinate transportation for children as needed Participate in training programs, conferences, courses and other aspects of related Ensure EEC financial assistance regulations and policies are being maintained Ensure EEC license regulations are being met by the FCC provider Attend all FCC meetings and participate in public relation events Scheduled work hours may vary and are subject to change
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred Lead Teacher Certification preferred Excellent written and verbal communications skills required Willingness to reply to clients and staff for urgent circumstances to include weekends and evenings Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Minimum of 3 years experience in early childhood education required Must pass a background check The Guild of St. Agnes offers an excellent benefits package including; medical, dental, and vision insurances, a 401k with up to 10% employer contribution, up to 3 weeks of vacation first year of employment, and more.
