What they do

A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Job Description

Must have strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include assisting with breakfast service, Food preparation, serving and cleaning kitchen equipment. Assists with other kitchen duties as directed by Head Cook/Cafeteria Manager. Performs other related work deemed necessary. Maintains USDA Professional Standards. Must be able to lift or assist in lifting up to 25-50 lbs.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
6.25HR. Shift, Mon.-Friday, 6:45am-1:00pm. School days with extra days as necessary. Flexibility in hours is a must.
Salary range:
$18.84-$23.05, dependent upon education and experience.
Starting date:
August 25, 2026
Pay:
$18.84 - $23.05 per hour
