Position Summary The Afterschool Snack Program Coordinator is responsible for the distribution and service of nutritious snacks to high school students. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position Under the direction of the Department of Food and Nutrition Services, assists by the program by: Picking up snacks from the Somerville High School kitchen Serving snacks to students Tallying the total amount of snacks distributed to students each day At the end of the month provide the SHS kitchen with the snack menu containing the total number of snacks distributed Able to organize, manage, coordinate, implement and oversee snack program Able to maintain records Prepare clear, concise and comprehensive reports Excise sound and independent judgement within general policy guidelines Establish and maintain working relationships with other staff Qualifications, Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills High School diploma Knowledge of Food Safety preferred Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
