Job Description:

SOCIAL WORKER A

life care community in Howard County seeks an experienced Social Worker with independent & assisted living experience with a MD LCSW, preferred, but not required to work with senior population. The ideal candidate should be able to perform psychosocial and cognitive assessments; provide counseling on Advance Directives and health insurances. Must have a team approach mindset with the ability to meet with families to discuss concerns/needs of residents and assist with adjusting to their new living environment. Qualified candidate should possess MSW deg, LCSW-C licensed, preferred by the State of MD, preferred, but not required. A minimum of 2 yrs working with older adults; one year specifically working in a long-term care environment, preferred. Interested candidates must have excellent hospitality skills, organizational or management experience. We offer an excellent benefit package with a competitive salary.
